Faced with a difficult task by the customer, we designed and implemented a reinforcement solution to ensure the integrity, stability and safety of this built-up island top with 32 inch overhang, waterfall and base. Presented with customer’s vision we crafted technical and aesthetic solutions on this challenging project.

The build-up is a challenge on its own. To secure the island’s 32” overhang on short, and 14” one on the long side, we needed to design and install an internal reinforcing system. Strategically placed hard wood and steel plates ensure the integrity and safety of the whole island.

For matching vein patterns of sections, we carefully executed well designed cutting and assembly plans.
